Beyond Cilicia - Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum - 30 July 2022
The archaeology museum in Urfa is a big thing. Actually it is the largest museum in Turkey and we could feel it in our legs once the seeing was finished. Apart from being big it is a very esthetic and informative institution with some 10 000 exhibits including the oldest life-size statue of a man in the world and the imitation of Göbekli Tepe Temple D. The museum is relatively new as it was opened in 2015.
